Inventor, entrepreneur, and author Charles Chick patented the first major change in burglar alarm systems since the 1920s and founded Guardsman Alarm Corporation in 1967. The company was acquired in 1972 by Honeywell.
Mr. Chick has patented improvements on industrial equipment, and his latest invention, a preprint inserting machine for the newspaper industry, was recently purchased by a NASDAQ company. Mr. Chick credits his inventing success to his faith in God and the belief that God wants everyone to use the creative process to invent products that will help others.
Mr. Chick is now developing a manufacturing factory/inner city ministry in Kansas City, KS to produce a corrosion inhibiting compound which he has invented.
