The following curricula, with their respective courses, are available through the Biblical Concourse as majors, minors, and individual courses. These are all conveyed from a Christian starting point, Christian point-of-contact, Christian method of presentation, and with a Christian message. This requires integrating faith, worship, transformative Biblical truth, practical life and project work experiences throughout mentored learning.
Most of the knowledge is conveyed through guided study of the course materials, with relevant laboratory, internship, apprentice and or entrepreneurship experiences.
Once you decide on an occupation, major, minor, or course of interest, then it is time to apply to the Concourse.
Based on the student's worldview knowledge, aptitudes, educational background, educational goals and business ideas stated in the student application, the Concourse prepares a draft personal curriculum for the student. This draft personal curriculum is sent to you for review and finalization with the advice of your parent(s), pastor(s) and relevant professional mentor(s).
Then you go to work on accomplishing your curriculum by taking the classes, studying independently and participating in the curriculum activities. Independent study students meet with mentors on a monthly or bi-monthly basis for encouragement and help to reach goals on schedule.
All Concourse majors, minors, and courses are billed to student accounts at one ounce of silver (Biblical money) per contact hour.* The Biblical Concourse defines one credit of knowledge as the knowledge typically gained in 40 hours of study. Typically, that is 8 contact hours plus 32 productive home study hours. Course contact hours are arranged with the teacher to accommodate the student learning pace and schedule limitations. Class contact hours can be either regular or timed to student accomplishment. Students can learn one credit worth of knowledge each week, either by focusing on one subject during a week or, if they prefer the variety, schedule several subjects to be completed over a longer period. And yes, grading is optional.
